The feasibility study for the 2024 Street Improvements Project was presented to the council and accepted November 27th, 2023. The scope of work includes full street reconstruction of Independence Street between Budd Avenue and Howard Avenue, Bryant Street, and Wyman Avenue.  Project includes sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer. The cost apportionment, as presented, is consistent with the City Code and past practice for similar projects.

Anticipated Schedule:

November 27th - Council accepts the feasibility study and orders the Improvement Hearing
January 10th - Open House Meeting
January 22nd - Improvement Hearing, Council Orders Improvements
March 2024 - Open Bids
April 2024 - Award Project
Summer 2024 - Fall 2024 – Construction
Fall 2024 - Final Assessment Hearing
