Curfew
Maple Plain requires people 15 and younger to be home by 10:30 p.m. People age 16 or 17 have to be home by midnight. There are several exceptions to curfews such as job hours, attending an official school or religious event, interstate travel, or when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Grass Length
Grass with a length excess of8 inches must be cut. NEW REGULATION
Parking
Vehicles may not be parked on any city street or rights-of-ways for more than 24 hours at a time.
Parking or storing of motor vehicles, recreational camping vehicles, recreational equipment, and/or trailers is not allowed in the front yard unless parked on an approved driveway (hard surface)
The following areas within Maple Plain are permanent no-parking areas
East side of Boundary Avenue
West side of Main Street W. (side with mailboxes)
Both sides of the street on Industrial Avenue
Winter Parking Restrictions
To facilitate plowing, parking on city streets is banned between 1:00 am - 7:00 am from November 1 through April 15. In addition, on-street parking is prohibited any time three or more inches of snow has accumulated, until after the street has been completely plowed.
