Welcome to the City of Maple Plain
Maple Plain is a thriving Minnesota community, located 25 miles west of Minneapolis on U.S. Highway 12. Approximately 2,100 people call Maple Plain home. The city is situated on the western edge of Hennepin County, and entirely within the Orono Public Schools District. The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month. The public is always welcome.
Notice is hereby given that the Local Board of Appeal & Equalization of the City of Maple Plain in Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet at the office of the City Clerk in said City at 6 p.m. on Monday the 28th day of April 2008. This meeting is for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said City for the year 2008. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment or who whish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause for having such assessment corrected. No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his/her agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.
