COVID Policies - The City will be following the School COVID Policy moving forward (due largely to our location in the Discovery Center). City meetings will be in-person, with the option to add a hybrid option at the request of a board member for COVID reasons.

The City's 2022 Street Improvement Project will be a mill and overlay and is planned for the below streets. Final approval will occur following appropriate bid process and Council review.

The City Council approved the Utility Rate increase, effective for Quarter 1 billing. The 15% increase is the first in 10 years and necessary to move the Utility Funds toward financial sustainability. Detailed information can be found in the Utility Rate Study. Also implemented is a 35% surcharge on water sold to properties outside the city limits.

FAQ - When will the Serenity Village public hearing be?

City staff is still working through the review of the Serenity Village application materials. The public hearing is tentatively planned for the April 7 Planning Commission meeting. Up-to-date information can be found at https://www.mapleplain.com/serenityvillage.
