Hennepin County, in coordination with the city of Loretto, is leading a project to make improvements along Baker Park Road/Medina Street (County Road 19) between Main Street in Maple Plain and Olson Memorial Highway (Highway 55) in 2024.
In mid-April through late-July, crews will close County Road 19 between Highway 55 in Loretto and Main Street East in Maple Plain. Through traffic will be detoured to use Highway 12, County Road 92 and Highway 55. Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
In mid-May through early June, crews will close County Road 19 north of Maple Plain between the south intersection of Sycamore Trail and Baker Park Reserve. This section of the road will be closed to all traffic, but local residents along Sycamore Trail and County Road 19 will have access to their homes from the south.
The paving and improvement project will not prevent post office, school bus or garbage services.
